Alexandre Rochette Pays D’Oc is a blend of Grenache and Syrah that pours clear, dense, and crimson red with purple tints. Enjoy a powerful and complex aroma of spice, red berries, and a delicate vegetal touch on the nose. On the palate, this wine is powerful, concentrated, and well-structured with silky tannins.
From vineyards located on clay-limestone slopes comes grapes benefitting from sunny conditions and a suiting water supply. Once grapes reach the desired maturity level, they’re put through a ten-day maceration process to allow the tannins and fresh fruit aromas to permeate the juice and then the wine. The two grape varieties are vinified separately and brought together in a final blend that reveals the wine’s complexity, balance, and succulent character.
Alexandre Rochette Pays D’Oc will liven up a meal of rosemary lamb kebabs or beef steak with mild peppers.
