For General Motors. CATERA The side airbags on 1997-1/2 and later V-car use an unique connector at the inflator module. This adapter is required to connect previously essential J-38715-A SIR Load Tool. The load tool is used to properly diagnose the SIR system. The adapter connects to the airbag harness and the load tool and is used to simulate a known good inflator module.
