CH-50378 is used for diagnosis of the fuel system in the 6.6L Duramax diesel. The engine now features piezo activated injectors.

The CH-50378 contains a regulator to control the return back pressure to allow metering of the leakage coming from a single injector. The leakage result is then compared to the service specification standard.
