Introducing the NEW Garrett G45-1475 Turbocharger
Designed for high-horsepower engine applications like the BMW S58 and B58, this turbocharger is a game changer. A Garrett-powered racer recently made history, becoming the first BMW M Sedan to break into the 7-second range with a 7.964-second pass at 176.71 MPH in the 1/4 mile. The team didn’t stop there, recently improving their performance with a 7.805-second pass at 181 MPH.
On the dyno, the Garrett G-Series G45-1475 turbocharger delivered an impressive 1500 AWHP and 1390 AWTQ with a 1.01 A/R turbine housing (see dynograph below). The BMW G8X, equipped with this turbocharger, features a highly modified setup, including a Pure Drivetrain Solutions drivetrain and an RK Autowerks 3.4L stroker engine kit, among other performance enhancements.
